It’s the time again. Welcome to ninesy, number two. A collection of my musings, a community for Kismet clients, friends, and fashion lovers alike. ninesy is a bi-monthly(ish) newsletter (or blog if you will) where you’ll find everything from curated picks for people from the Kismet community, best sellers amongst my clients, current cravings, the list goes on.

In this issue: styling you, what’s worth buying during black friday sales and the kismet holiday gift guide 2024

styling you

Here’s the drill. You DM me on Instagram for a chance to get virtually styled by me. Fun for you and fun for me.

This week we’re styling Kendall. She’s going on a ski trip in Japan over the holidays (!) and needs some chic looks for the sloples, apres-ski and beyond.

I had so much fun styling these looks partially because I’m insanely jealous of this trip and also because (most) of these looks can apply to everyone who is experiencing cozy weather right now.

P.S. Don’t forget to submit yourself for a chance to get styled in the comments or on IG!

things worth investing in: black friday edition

It’s my favorite time of year. Sale season. Now, it’s easy to go overboard but let’s all just calm down. It’s important to be strategic in what you buy so you don’t end up with a ton of stuff you don’t need or feeling broke once you’ve clearned out the sale sections.

It may be no surprise that my take on sale season is what it always is when it comes to shopping. Quality over quanity. Rather than hit up cheaper brands for their sales, I’d always much rather get big ticket items even if that means I’m only getting a couple of things. Because of this, I’m always going to invest in the following things this time of year - coats/jackets, sunglasses, bags, shoes, and quality sweaters.

The more inexpensive stores tend to have sales throughout the year but the big boys often don’t. This is your chance to take advantage.

I’ve bought the following items so far through private sales.

my gift guide

Ok guys I’m pretty proud of this one. Ironically, even though I shop for people for a living, I find shopping for loved ones quite difficult. Sometimes the giftee is “the person who has everything”, sometimes the giftee is just plain difficult to shop for, and sometimes I just blank. I sat down early this year and really thought about what I wanted to get the people in my life and would want myself and this is what I came up with.

I won’t go into detail about every gift in this guide, but I have to shout out a few of them. I absoultely love this Thom Brown card holder. Classic but still has some personality.

The set of two Tomato pasta bowls is perfect for the pasta obsessed person in your life.

I can not stop singing the praises of the Studio Scent Diffuser by Hotel Collection. I recenetly got this and couldn’t be more obsessed. I have walked into many stores and restaurants and asked employees what the smell was and the answer was also the Studio Scent Diffuser. I have the scent inspired by the 1 Hotel Miami Beach and it’s sublime.

The Cuz Matcha Matcha Maker Starter kit for the chic matcha lover in your life.

The Our Place Wonder Oven is RIGHT up my ally (and it’s currenetly on sale for Black Friday). Though I already have an air fryer (which I use every day) but this is definitely on my Christmas list.

If you love cashmere as much as I do and you love being chic while comfy as much as I do you will LOVE the Guest in Residence showtime shirt and everywear pants.

I love the Cariter card holder for a festive pop of red. You can also get your initals embossed.

Pretty sure I’m asking for a Spinelli ring for my birthday.
