Ninesy by Kismet
number two
It’s the time again. Welcome to Ninesy, number two. A collection of my musings, a community for Kismet clients, friends, and fashion lovers alike. Ninesy is a bi-monthly(ish) newsletter (or blog if you will) where you’ll find everything from curated picks for people from the Kismet community, best sellers amongst my clients, current cravings, the list goes on.
styling you
Here’s the drill. You DM me on Instagram for a chance to get virtually styled by me. Fun for you and fun for me.
This week we’ve got Lola. She’s a young LA based mom with a children’s clothing line and she is heading to see Usher in Las Vegas with her husband and friends in a few weeks. She wants something fun and sexy and black. Her inspo is Keke Palmer at the Usher concert back in July.
Here’s what we’re working with (these are also great holiday looks if you lean more sexy Santa)
P.S. Don’t forget to submit yourself for a chance to get styled in the comments or on IG!
things worth investing in
Some things are worth putting your $$$ into and some things are not. I’m here to tell you which items fall into which bucket.
If you know me, you know I live for a good blazer. It’s the easiest way to elevate your wardrobe and there are so many ways to wear one. A good blazer can make sense for any person’s style, any person’s aesthetic. Blazers are the number one thing my female clients have on their wishlists and it’s now blazer season, so let’s get to it.
I also love this version (much less expensive)
best sellers
I take pride in diversifying what I curate for my clients - I don’t like walking around in the same looks as everyone else and I don’t want that for my clients either. Sometimes though, some crossover is just inevitable because the item is just too good. Here are some best sellers from the last month.
from basic to beyond: belts
Belts are such a simple accessory but they are all the rage right now. They are the perfect thing to add to your look if it feels like it’s missing something or it needs to be broken up.
I am absolutely obsessed with Dehanche belts so now, so are many of my clients. They are minimal but still pack a punch and completely elevate a simple jeans and t-shirt fit.

B-Low the Belt is another great brand at a great price

Now I’m not saying the quality is great (because it’s not) but if you don’t want to spend a ton on a belt, Zara is the way to go. I have one in particular that I love and have worn for the past four years.
And lastly, if you’re going to splurge, Khaite (big surprise here) is the way to go.
on a personal note
As you may or may not have noticed, this issue of ninesy is seriously late. Things have been crazy over here - fall is by far my busiest season with clients, I was in New York for a week of appointments and I’ve had racks on racks on racks of virtual appointments. I’m also working on a MAJOR secret project (sorry to be that person) which has been sucking up pretty much all of my time (in the best way). I’ll announce the project in the next month or two so stay tuned for that.
last bits of business
I’ll be heading to LA and SF in the new year. I have yet to release dates but stay on the lookout!
The Curated is quickly becoming my most popular service. You can see all of my services here.
